PERSONAL PROFILE

I have recently finished studying at North West Kent College where I achieved excellent grades in three different Art qualifications and am now looking to move into employment. My voluntary work has helped me to develop some key skills including my strong communication and customer service skills. I am an enthusiastic team member and have been able to develop my team skills while playing in my band. I also enjoy working on my initiative.

EMPLOYMENT HISTORY

Volunteer Environmental Worker 2009 – present
Bromley Field Studies Centre, Orpington
I have participated in environmental conservation projects in and around Scadbury Park. Duties have included strimming, hedge trimming, post and rail fencing and cultivating waster land.

Voluntary Sales Assistant 2008 - present
Greenwich and Bexley Cottage Hospice, Belgrove Parade, Welling
I volunteer with the Hospice for one or two days a week in the charity’s shop. I perform general duties such as stock rotation and sorting through incoming donations. I also provide customer service; helping customers to locate items, and handling cash transactions. On occasions I assist with heavy lifting when helping with events such as the Teddy Bear’s picnic.


Volunteer Youth Worker 2008 - 2009
Welling Youth Centre, Welling
I volunteered one night a week at a youth club helping young people to develop their artistic and musical skills.
